Ducky

Jack has been incredibly enthralled with birds lately. The "kick" doesn't seem to be ending either! So, when the opportunity arose for him to hold a baby ducky this spring, I couldn't pass it up. Each spring at Century (the school I teach at), the 9th grade biology students take home a ducky for Memorial Day weekend. They have to feed it, walk it and journal about it. My friend, Deb's son, John, happened to have a ducky for the weekend, so we were able to go over and see it! Jack loved it so much! He also thinks John's pretty cool, too, so that was part of the thrill!
