For the last handful of years, we've gone to Beetle's Bar & Grill where my friend Miranda's bagpipe band plays. They, in fact, play all over the city, all day long on St. Patty's Day. This year, since St. Patty's Day was on a Saturday and the weather was amazing (80 degrees!), their band rented the Rochester Trolley so family and friends could follow the band around. Jack and I went along for about two hours. It was so fun and Jack had a blast. We started out at a little neighborhood parade and then ended at Beetle's.
Here's a little video of the bagpipes! I just love them....and I've asked Miranda to play at my funeral if I outlive her and if she's not too old to play!
