Jack's Preschool Art Work

Yesterday I undertook a huge project while the boys were at daycare.  I went through the last two year's worth of Jack's art projects.  I photographed/scanned them and then made them into a photobook.  It took me all day.  I then recycled all of the art work only keeping a few precious things.  Take a look!

Father's Day 2012

I decided to try a little Pinterest project for Father's Day.  I had the kids do a photo shoot with the letters D-A-D.  Then I framed them for Jay's office! This is how it turned out:

Photo Shoot--The Moments of Life

I was devastated with Mandy closed her photography business.  We were with her since Jack was three months old.  We grew with her business.  When she told me last spring she was quitting, I literally cried.  She was kind enough to continue taking our pictures through Luke's first birthday, but there had to be a stopping point!  I decided to go with The Moments of Life for our next photographer.  Several people I knew had used her and I was impressed with her pictures.  

I took the boys in March.  These were Jack's 5 year pictures and Luke's 17 month pictures--almost 18 months.  We went to her house, to her small studio for some cute shots.  The boys did great and I was very pleased with the outcome.  

O Christmas Tree

Like I mentioned in my last post, I've been pretty inspired by Pinterest of late.  I saw a similar photo to this one a few weeks ago.  It gave the specs on how to take the photo with specific settings etc (making the Christmas tree look all sparkily).  It wasn't working for me as I didn't have the exact camera mentioned.  After weeks of trying and many failed attempts, FINALLY this week, I got this shot.  I'm really proud of it!  I think it's one of the most artistic pictures I've taken.  I'm very interested in photography.  Nothing like having children to inspire you!
