For the last handful of years we've had a standing "4th of July" date with the Shannon's. This year we went up to their house for the day. We hung out, watched the kids played, BBQ-ed, and sweated a whole bunch. It was HOT. So hot we (the adults) could only handle being outside for moments at a time! I brought my special "4th of July" poke hole cake! Yum!

Cousins
Anna, Jake and Ella have moved back to Rochester. The most exciting part about this as that our kids will get to grow up together. We went over to their new house to celebrate Ella's first birthday and then we put the kids in their "4th of July" outfits bought by Grandma!
Birthday Girl!!!
This was the best we got of the three of them! We were exhausted after trying for the perfect shot!
Lake 2012
We made our third annual trip to "the lake" with Mom and Dad. This was our second year back at Breezy Point. It was a great week. Overall the weather was swell. The fishing was good. The kids were decent and we're ready to go back next year! This year Heidi joined us for a few days. That was nice. The kids enjoyed playing with her. Instead of loading pictures, take a look at the photo book I made Mom and Dad!

Jack's Preschool Art Work
Yesterday I undertook a huge project while the boys were at daycare. I went through the last two year's worth of Jack's art projects. I photographed/scanned them and then made them into a photobook. It took me all day. I then recycled all of the art work only keeping a few precious things. Take a look!

Father's Day 2012
I decided to try a little Pinterest project for Father's Day. I had the kids do a photo shoot with the letters D-A-D. Then I framed them for Jay's office! This is how it turned out:
