Baseballs

When Jack was born in 2007 my parents' neighbor, Bob gave Jack a baseball with his name and the year on it. It was something he made but gave to Jack as a welcome to this world gift. When Jack was six months old, I had his 6 month pictures taken in a Twins outfit and I brought the ball along as a prop. When Luke was born, Bob gave him a similar ball. So, at Luke's six month pictures, I did the same thing with the same outfit. The pictures turned out great and I had the pictures made into large canvases (11x17) for our red, Twins basement. Here are some of those pictures.

I made the collage with the baseballs into a little notecard and sent it to Bob as a thank you. He told me that he's given dozens of these types of balls to new babies and he's never had anyone take pictures with them and make such a big deal out of them. I was really happy he was honored, but I just thought they were cool! Both balls sit in collector cases on the boys' shelf in their room! Thanks, Bob!
