Every year since Jack's been born, I've made a big deal about his birthday parties. All but his first birthday, I've made the cakes/cupcakes/cookies! In January, I decided to take a Wilton's Cake Class at Michael's to prepare myself for his wish of a birthday cake---Lotso, the bear from Toy Story 3! I needed to learn the "fur" technique if I was going to deliver! Along with the Lotso cake request, I made the Alien cupcakes too!
We decided to hold Jack's birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa Rickert's house in Northfield because space is getting tight at our house; especially with all of the baby gear at our house! It was spacious and wonderful and it was nice that Mom had to clean her house and I didn't!
